Our Perspective

According to a 2023 Lumina Foundation-Gallup State of Higher Education study, Black college students in the United States of America have lower six-year completion rates for any type of degree or certificate program than any other racial or ethnic group because of racial discrimination, the high cost of higher education and a multitude of external responsibilities.

(What we believe to be the problem.)

"Some believe that the scholastic change (specifically amongst Blacks) needs to start with the curriculum, as others believe it is the institutions themselves, but we acknowledge, understand, and plan to give the higher educational system, a much needed makeover." -Murrell Green, Ed.D.

(What we believe to be the solution.)
